What are ENEC and ENEC PLUS certificates?
The ENEC mark is a registered mark of the European certification for electrical products. It confirms that the product meets the requirements of the European standards (EN), which are mainly related to safety. ENEC is a European independent high-quality trademark. Certification for the ENEC mark is a program supervised after the issuance of the certificate.
In order to receive the ENEC certificate, the manufacturer should have equipment for the continuous production of a specific product, the ability to verify the manufactured products and an implemented management system in accordance with ISO 9001.
The ENEC PLUS mark confirms the reliability of the functional parameters specified by the manufacturer and declared at the time of launching the product to the market. Parameters that taken into account during certification are, for example, as follows: durability, luminous efficiency, light distribution, power supply current and voltage, luminous flux, maximum operating temperature, color temperature, color rendering index, power, ambient temperature range.
The ENEC PLUS mark can only be obtained by a product that already has the ENEC mark.
